A great trip from London to Marseille by train

I recently took the train from London to Marseille with Eurostar and OUIGO, travelling in Standard Class. It took around 7 and a half hours to get from London St Pancras International station to Marseille St-Charles station by train.

What I enjoyed about the journey

This was a trip to Marseille to meet some friends and see a rugby match. Both the Eurostar and OUIGO trains were on time and very fast. There were some great views along the way too.

I found the seats comfortable with enough legroom and was impressed with the trains’ overall cleanliness. I also appreciated the fact that there was ample luggage storage on board the trains.

My overall travel time was about 7 and a half hours, and at just under £200 for the return journey I felt the trip was fairly good value.

In summary, the trip was very easy, comfortable and stress free.
