Original illustration (‘La cycliste’) measuring 26.5 cm x 31.1 cm.
1979, signed at the bottom right-hand corner.
Indian ink illustration on Canson paper (Viladon les Annonay), paper used by Sempé for these drawings.
JJ Sempé was born on August 17th, 1932 a Pessac, France.
The Canson paper is yellowed by time and the visible clearer demarcation
is caused by the frame that was removed to observe the authenticity of the artwork and this is how we found the beginning of another drawing on the back, see pictures.
The shipment will be insured with a neat packaging.
PS: The visible tape on the back was used to fasten the artwork.
