Hotel was hard to find at first and it kind of resembles a motel on the outside BUT they remodeled it beautifully. Staff was AMAZING! Literally so nice, so attentive. Customer service was a 10/10. But I have three complaints. First, I would put the ac on 60 but it never went past 68 and seemed like it didn’t work at night; it would get extremely hot during the night and I have to be cold to sleep. Secondly, housekeeping and maintenance were extremely loud. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every little thing. It was somewhat annoying. Thirdly, the pool had bugs and leaves in it… which isn’t a huge deal but it would’ve been nice to swim in a clean pool. Nonetheless, amazing hotel and staff. They give you a free popsicle, free water, and free parking. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

Omg!!! This place was amazing getaway, very clean and cozy ans so nice.. the room was spacious and beautiful and very clean. The pool area was a great experience with the dj abs cocktails. I would definitely return

Horrific from Check-In to everything else. Check-In took a full 10 minutes because the person did not know how to use their system properly. There is no “office” it’s an ice stand. Parking is unsecured, uncovered and very limited. Warm water is luke warm. The TV in the room did not work. The rooftop bar is “cashless” (the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard) and was also unable to charge to the room number. Overall, this was a complete waste of money and I had to worry about my car the entire night as the hotel is in a shady area on top of everything else. AVOID.

This hotel is a mixed bag. On one hand, everyone we met that works there was fantastic! On the other hand, there were some big misses. The pool is shared with the public who have to make reservations in order to have access. Hotel guests have complimentary access but you have to “reserve” a space with the front desk 24 hours in advance. In reality, you’re not making a reservation as a guest because when we arrived to the pool, we were told we could sit anywhere that wasn’t reserved. Almost every space was reserved. Huh? I thought I made a reservation with the front desk. No, the only real pool reservations are the locals who are paying to use it. I ended up asking the hostess to move a reservation to the back so I could sit near the pool, which she accommodated. It seems like the hotel and the pool share the property but are separate entities. The chaise loungers by the pool were disgusting! I was thankful they provided towels to cover them up. The room was dirty. Baseboards and windowsills were covered in dust, and the rug made my feet black. The overall curb appeal is nice but amenity and room cleanliness was a HUGE miss. I’d give it another shot but only if there weren’t any other options available in town.

Online, the hotel looked nice. The rooms were chic, just like the pictures. The check in was above average. Staff here okay. Got to the room and no sooner did I put my bags down … the DJ from the pool area started his music. Okay. I wouldn’t have minded deep house, Buddha Bar, or something chill. Nope. The DJ started in with rap music and other dated tracks from the early 2000’s. I half expected to hear the “Candy” was going to dance on center stage. And it stayed loud and grew louder. The bass was thumping the windows. I tried to call down to the office and got put on hold for upward of ten minutes. It was just horrible. So… I had had enough and promptly checked out and requested a refund. They only gave half of my money back. Look. If you want to spend a night at in a frat party environment this is all you. If not, better to just bypass this crazy place and leave it to tone deaf DJ a few decades behind the trend. One star.

If you want a place that has good vibes good people good food good music overall good resort then this is a place to be. Honestly I can’t think of any negative things to say about this place. I stayed here with my husband for three days and it was the best time, thank you everyone at uprise hotel.
