I love the fact it was inside the Stone Mountain Park. The scenery was beautiful. The ability to work the trails was amazing. The staff were very friendly. And the hotel itself was very clean and well kept. However, it did not appear the hotel provides daily room cleanings. Also, For such a large property, the placement of the ice machines should be reconsidered. There was only one ice machine on the floor, however, the hotel is somewhat designed into wings. We were on the mid to far end of what I call the left wing but the only ice machine was about halfway down on the right wing. There are signs pointing in the direction of the ice machine once you get off the elevators, but if you somehow miss it, you’re out of luck. Well, I will say, there are phones stationed at the end of each break in the long hallways. The ice machine placement was about the only thing that I saw which did not make too much sense.
Some of the fixings around the hotel could come into the 21st century, but hey, they all worked, so I guess that’s just me being picky.
All in all it is a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay, and would happily return.
