I stayed for 2 nights at westgate.
On the first night we arrived at around 11pm for check in.
We were served by a male staff (in his 30-40s) at the front desk.
We originally reserved for the signature room with a king size bed but instead we were told that the bed is queen size instead. Having had a long drive we were too tired to argue.
The room is far from just a change of the queen size bed- the “bed” was in fact a old couch convertible bed. With springs poking out to our backs, making squeaking noises with every move.
The room itself was also not the signature room we reserved for. But a not completely furnished studio with furnitures scatter across the room.
The original two sets of blanket that i requested for were NOT prepared.
We were also told that “theres nothing that can be done” and “just come back to the front desk tomorrow after noon ,and if we have an open room you can switch”
In retrospect i found it inappropriate and deceiving for this middle age male staff to arrange our reservation this way.
I called the front desk the next day at 8am and the other staff immediately made the switch for me, which could have been done the night before when I checked in.
I am throughly disappointed at the service received on my first night because the rest of the time the services and staffs seem to be appropriate.
Unfortunately it would be the last time Im staying at Westgate due to the inconsistency of quality of services provided.
