Exceeded expectations. Lovely room, exceptional balcony view, great lobby and pool area, and nice amenities (complimentary ice cream for the kids was a nice touch). Only criticism was that the pool was quite dirty (had to fish a cockroach out myself) and the adjoining restaurant (Fish House) was a disaster. We’ll stay again, but won’t book breakfast next time.

Really nice place, pool area is lovely, like the convenience of the water taxi and shuttle, the girl at the Reel bar is super friendly and works hard. It’s our place to stay when we visit our daughter in Mount Pleasant. Highly recommend

Views are amazing. Rooms are average, bathroom tile and grout needed attention, bathroom shower handle loose, bedding very comfortable. Pools were spacious with great towel service, beverage/food service and chairs with umbrellas. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The resort is beautiful. The pools are amazing. They provide a free shuttle to downtown Charleston. My room was a bit older and small but well decorated, last year I booked directly through the hotel and my room was big, beautiful and pretty new- but I saved $70 on the Expedia room- which is worth it. I’d book again

Loved everything super clean.... only complaint is you cant really swim on the beach. There is a retaining wall to keep it from washing away not really any place to go swimming... however the do have 3 pools to make up for it

I enjoyed being at the harbor and CB using the water taxi to visit areas of Charleston. While I enjoyed my meals at the Fish House, I wished there was a dining option at the hotel for breakfast or brunch! It is a beautiful area of Charleston and everyone was pleasant and very helpful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the Harborside and were allowed to use the pool at the Beach Club side which was great. Loved using the bikes for a ride around the area. Enjoyed waffles for breakfast at the Fish House restaurant on property. The queen room and bathroom were on the smaller side with only one sink. It was manageable for two (though very tight) but would not recommend a family of four stay there. There was light coming in from the top and bottom of the doorway so you could easily hear people outside in the halIway. The air conditioner was loud and startling every time it came on. I would try the Beach Club side next time- probably worth the extra money per night.

Overall, the pools and the beach area were very nice. The beach area was nicely set up and very relaxing. We had a room with 2 queen beds and it was painfully small. It was very difficult for 2 adults and 2 children to move around at the same time. The bathroom also did not have a vent, which would cause the bathroom and the room to get very steamy & humid. We also had to unplug every lamp in the room to be able to have enough outlets for items to plug in, so that felt very outdated in the room. There was also a $100 incidental fee that was held on your credit card PER DAY, which was definitely a surprise when we got there and checked in. The good options were good overall, but the only breakfast option was at the nicer sit-down restaurant on-sit. It definitely would have been nice to have another, easier breakfast option.

The amenities in the hotel were good. The room we booked was overall okay. Our main issue was the bathroom as the doors were very hard to close, there was no fan and the shower had a partial glass side so if you moved it accidentally water would get all over the floor.
