Terrible check in experience. Desk staff didn't greet (or acknowledge my hello) on arrival, had to ask the friendly bar staff to assist.When the desk staff did see we were trying to check in, I was presented with sign up to Hilton rewards form. Room wasn't clean. Hair in bathroom linen and coffee stains on tables. It is a nice hotel, with excellent fittings and offers a good location however a Hilton it is not. Check out and late night staff were excellent in their service and the checkout process quick and well managed. I would try them again to the future, hopefully they will have corrected these issues.

Great Southern Style and Comfort
I had seen the Hilton Albany when it was new last summer and was impressed by the amenity, location and staff so it was a good choice for my recent stay. First impressions were correct. Very comfortable, modern minimalist, attention to detail, very quiet room, with all the provisions for an excellent stay.

We enjoyed the room. The bedding was luxurious. The bathroom was beautiful. I would have preferred large towels but not necessary. We all would have liked Foxtel or Netflix for additional creature comforts. Would stay again.

Location, easy to walk to city centre, great views over the harbour. Clean, comfort rooms. Friendly staff. Didn’t like “click and collect” menu where coincidences order food from the room but you had to go to the restaurant to collect your food. Room was not supplied with water on a daily basis as was advised on in room brochure. Food in the restaurant was small portions, not very tasty and very expensive.

Paid for the deluxe room for the view. View was from the door. Once you went to the window it turned into a view of the carpark and a big shed. No where to sit and watch the cricket in the room or not. As for sport watching only what is on free to air.
