Room was very outdated, dark, and dirty. Stained carpet, stained lamp shades, stained shower, and wasn’t even vacuumed. We checked in, walked into our room, and not even 2 minutes later we were going back to the car to get our money back.

From the photos of the room online it appeared that my beachfront room would have a great view of the Gulf of Mexico - however, they neglect to tell you that those rooms are at the bottom of a dune behind the cabana chairs so all I could see was blue and white striped chairs. Should haved chosen a room on a higher floor. But the room was large and clean and very comfortable! Had to stay after housekeeping to replace things like coffee and cups but overall a wonderful trip!!

Older hotel, but w/many of the amenities we were looking for (i.e. easy access to beach; local places to eat) - but w/an older hotel. some items needed attention (squeeky stairway doors) - Also, in-room amenities were lacking (i.e. coffee and condiments, plus kitchenettes lacked eating utensils, bowls, plates or cups - but was otherwise a nice place to go to in St. Pete Beach for the price...

We had an awesome view of the beach from our room. There were so many amenities from having a private beach with cabanas with no extra charge. The beach bar was great with live music and bingo. The food was excellent at the restaurant. The staff was friendly and the maids took great care of our room. Not to mention the convenience of having a Publix across the street. Dolphin Beach Resort is where we will always stay when visiting St Pete's.
