Upon encountering a delay in my flight, I dutifully notified the front desk. Regrettably, the attendant who received the call, albeit with the challenge of pronouncing my surname correctly, responded dismissively with an offhand "Whatever," instead of acknowledging the error. The front desk staff, comprised largely of college students, appeared preoccupied and less attentive to the quality of guest experience. While I empathize with their obligations during Spring break, the lack of professionalism was palpable. Assistance with local information, transportation, or dining reservations was notably absent. Queries directed at the staff often yielded uncertain responses, reflecting a lack of preparedness or knowledge.
Regrettably, the condition of the assigned room was substandard. The carpet exhibited signs of neglect, necessitating a thorough cleaning. Maintenance issues, including a malfunctioning phone and an inaccessible safe, were encountered and addressed only after multiple attempts. Furthermore, the shower drain was found to be obstructed, detracting from the overall comfort of the stay.
