About this property

This charming house has wonderful sweeping views of Seneca Lake! A 10 minute convenient walk along the lake to downtown Watkins Glen restaurants, bars, shops and other destinations.
The house has a sitting room, a living room with You Tube TV, Bose Radio and games, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. You can sleep 7,8 comfortably in this home, 10 MAX. (PLEASE NOTE: we may be renovating in 2025 to alter sleeping arrangements to 8 MAX, please inquire)
Upstairs there are two bedrooms with a full sized bed in each.
Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and another bedroom we call a bunk room with a queen size bed AND two twin beds that includes it's own bathroom. This house is great for families or groups looking to enjoy the lake and wineries in the area, explore the Village, the Watkins Glen State Park, the plentiful hiking, beautiful waterfalls or Watkins Glen International Race Track.

Spend the exploring the beautiful finger lakes and then relax on the outdoor deck with a glass of wine overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake.
Ample parking with a driveway that can accommodate 4-5 cars.
We can forward all kinds of info to you via this app upon request and will have a information available to you including suggestions for many of the areas points of interests. (Restaurants, Wineries, Bars, Water activities and short road trips).
We have enjoyed seven seasons as vacation rental owners and look forward to hosting visitors this 2024 season at Green Point Getaway!

We have a driveway that can accommodate approximately four vehicles. There is no parking in the front of the house and by permission in the back.

Wedding Weekend

This home was perfect for our son's wedding weekend. There is a first floor bedroom with full bath and ground entrance which was perfect to accommodate our 90 year old parents. The home has everything you need, comfy beds, kitchen amenities, perfect size for our family of 6 guests. Great location to town and to the wedding venue. The owner is easy to access for any questions and very responsive. Unfortunately we were unable to use the front porch or fire pit area due to the very cool weather. We will be sure to recommend as well as stay here again! Thank you so much!

Cozy and Comfortable Lakeside

You never know how the weather will be in Fingerlakes in the fall. We went from 75 degrees on Friday to 40s on Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised this home had something for any season. Beautiful deck overlooking the lake we could have coffee and drinks on in the morning. At night we sat outside and enjoyed the firepit with provided blankets for outside. Julie had helpful labels all over the house answering any question before we had it. Comfortable bedrooms and a small but efficient kitchen. We celebrated my daughters 30th birthday with a few friends and we all enjoyed our stay. Took in a few wineries and walked downtown for dinner. Perfect location for anything you may choose to do in town or on the lake. Thanks for your hospitality and the warm welcome! -Donna & Greg

Girl Trip

What a lovely place for a girl trip! Julie was a great host. Communication was prompt, the house was clean, it had everything we needed, the beds were comfy, and the view was fabulous! The outdoor space was a real treat. Even in the rain we were able to be outside on the covered porch. The location was also perfect...just far enough from all the town activity but close enough to walk where ever we wanted to go. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Julie for sharing your home!

Fantastic place!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It is located close to everything and walking distance from town. It is exactly as pictured, squeaky clean and stocked with everything you might need! The owner has obviously put a lot of thought into every detail. Everything is labeled and well organized, and the owner has provided lots of recommendations on things to do, where to eat, wineries to visit, etc. We had a blast sitting by the firepit, drinking wine, and catching up. This is one of the most thoughtfully stocked VRBOs I have ever visited, and I 100% recommend it.

Girlfriends weekend.

Julie’s home was a perfect place for a girls weekend for the six of us. The house was very clean and obviously well cared for. Julie was extremely informative leading up to our stay. She has very helpful information to help you plan for your stay!

Hello and welcome to Green Point!
My Grandfather bought this property in 1929 to woo my Grandmother to marry him! It worked! His name was Willis Green and he built my Grandma Sophie a house and painted it Green like their last name! I wonder if he knew that their daughter would end up coming back home to live with them and their granddaughters would end up living there as teenagers. My Mother always told me " the lake brings us back". She was right.
Fast forward and the fact is.... we just can't let this family treasure go.
Please enjoy what we love dearly. This house, town and region has so much to offer!
My husband Joe and I both graduated from Watkins Glen and now live in Rochester and have two children that are young adults now. When we retire we plan to move here!
My sister Jodi graduated from Watkins Glen and now lives in Canandaigua with her husband and two children!
We all clean and maintain the property collectively and enjoy time at this property anytime we can!
