Nestled in a charming neighborhood on the mainland of the Siesta Key Bridge, then " Casa Del Sur" is waiting for you. This darling ground-level home is tucked behind courtyard walls and surrounded by lush tropical vegetation you can only find here on Florida's warm Gulf Coast.


You'll enjoy hours of fun in the totally private heatable pool and spa, whether swimming, getting lost in a good book while working on your tan, or dining al fresco under the starry skies at night.

Inside you'll find a nicely appointed kitchen, a comfortable and delightfully decorated living, and dining area, then two bedrooms perfect for relaxing, each with a queen bed. The primary bedroom features an en suite bath and 32" television, and a view and exit to the private backyard garden. The second bedroom also opens onto the garden, with a hall bath just outside the door for easy access.

The serenity of this place may tempt you to stay at home for your entire vacation, but the surrounding Sarasota and Siesta Key attractions will be too much to resist! When you're ready for a day at the beach, just hop in your car for the 10-minute drive or rent bikes for the easy four-and-a-half-mile cruise to the Siesta Key Public Beach.

While dining options abound on the island, Sarasota's mainland offers a world of other choices. Right down the road in Gulf Gate is a charming two-street area filled with a collection of restaurants with food choices from around the globe. Want something more sophisticated? Downtown Sarasota is home to a variety of fine dining options, with world-class opera, ballet, theater, and Broadway offerings just around the corner.

Only five and a half miles away from home is the shopping and dining mecca of St. Armand's Circle. Try out the Columbia Restaurant, one of only a handful of dining establishments in the United States more than 100 years old and still owned by the same family. The Cuban culture and their delicious food have a long history in these parts of Florida, and you won't want to miss a chance to try the best!

Please Note: Although the living room offers a queen sleeper sofa, there are no blinds or curtains in this room. Privacy isn't an issue, since the entire front of the house is hidden behind the courtyard walls, but it's not a good place to sleep in...only early birds will want to sleep here!

A NOTE ABOUT POOL HEAT: If you book online, your reservation will automatically populate with a pool heat charge for one week. If your reservation is for a longer period, someone on our staff will adjust the pool heat rate to reflect the longer stay. We recommend pool heat at this property, regardless of the time of year, as pools near shady trees stay cooler, even in the summer.

*PET OWNERS: This property is dog friendly for one to two dogs with a maximum weight of 25 pounds each and a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per dog for the first week. There is an additional $50 fee per week per dog for each additional week booked. Also, certain breeds are excluded. It is necessary that you check with our office prior to your trip for details on weight and breed limitations.
