Unbeatable Views!

This was our second time staying at Joan's cabin and it never disappoints. The views are absolutely unbeatable with an amazing porch that overlooks the trees. Inside, the cabin is very warm and cozy, with a great electric fireplace to keep you warm while you hang out. The entire property is extremely quiet making it perfect for a chill cabin getaway. Would definitely recommend!

Great location & view!

The location of the home in proximity to downtown Murphy and easy access to main highways was a great plus. The view is amazing for being so close to town. The drive up is completely paved but is steep with a few sharp turns. We made it up and down the mountain in a Chevy challenger 2WD. Would not recommend driving the road at night! The home had 2 great porches for relaxing with a view. The inside of the home felt very homey and had a variety of kitchenware for cooking, board games, and tv/internet access. Joanie, was very helpful during our stay and responded quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely has one of the best views and worth the booking!

A Great Cabin

Cabin was great, exactly as pictured . Everything you could possibly need was there. Views were outstanding. Mornings were like being up in the clouds. Interactions with owner were great. We will absolutely recommend this cabin and we hope to book again. Thank you Joanie for having such a wonderful place to rent. Restaurants in area were great.

Wonderful getaway

My husband and I had a great time at the Retreat! It had everything we needed and made for a very enjoyable trip. The screened in porch was our favorite place to relax in the evening and enjoy the view! The road up was a bit unnerving for this city gal from Ohio, but absolutely worth it for the view!!
