GREAT REVIEWS. CABIN IS A ALL SEASONS SUMMER AND WINTER BOATING AND ICE FISHING IS GREAT, AND IS PERFECTLY SUITED FOR A SINGLE, COUPLE OR FAMILY LOOKING TO RELAX AND ENJOY. ALL SEASONS THAT THE LAKE HAS TO OFFER. OUR PROPERTY HAS A BOAT/FISHING DOCK, RELAXATION AND ENJOYMENT OF THE LAKE WITH ROOM FOR YOUR BOAT AND WATER TOYS. WE HAVE FOUR SINGLE SEATER KAYAKS WITH PADDLES AND LIFE JACKETS FOR GUEST TO USE. BBQ ON SITE, THE 2 BEDROOM CABIN OFFERS AN OPEN CONCEPT LIVING, DINNING AND KITCHEN AREA WITH VIEWS OF THE LAKE. Beware, looks can be deceiving

Beautiful lake location and close to Brainerd and Nisswa. The reason for the poor rating is that there was a questionable odor in the bedrooms. Not an old cabin smell, but something very odoriferous in the carpeted floors. We were working with the owner to find a solution and suddenly he suggested we "should leave the premises". Being compliant women in our 50's & 60's, we left. The owner refused to refund any portion of the rental. We stayed one night of the four night rental.

So relaxing

This quaint cabin was the perfect size for 3 adults and 1 child. The communal space was spacious and comfortable. The lighting on the deck was perfect, not too bright. We all really enjoyed our time here.

Perfect

Cabin was in a great location with easy access to the lake. Had everything you could possibly need and the host was very quick to respond with any questions. Great place for families. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect dog friendly cabin

North Long Lake has a special place in our hearts as we used to live across the lake from this cabin. We needed a place to stay that allowed a dog- this cabin was perfect. Lake front was well kept, Lake is clean and quiet. Cabin had everything we needed to spend a few nights away. Neighbors were friendly, location is very convenient for activities in both Nisswa and Brainerd/Baxter.

Great getaway for a family!

When we first arrived at 9pm at night we found half the outlets not working and for some reason the heat was on (it was June…) We we’re worried this was a bad sign, but we reached out to the owner and they had their property manager at our place in 15 minutes. From there everything went fine. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable for our family of five. The long dock was awesome and allowed us easy access to the sandy beach beyond the weeds, warm and shallow water made for lots of fun. We brought our boat and had to launch from across the lake. Getting to the dock was a little tricky since it’s so shallow, but we figured it out. Though we could hear the raceway nearby, it wasn’t too loud and didn’t bother us. All in all, this was a great place to enjoy a relaxing family getaway.
