This is a perfect set-up for families and friends vacationing together. Please note: the house is NOT available for weddings, receptions, parties or events.

1st floor: magnificent entryway with views through Palladian windows to the sea; formal dining room with fireplace; formal living room; family room with fireplace and flat screen TV; warm spacious kitchen with round wooden table that sits 10; brand new high end appliances and granite countertop; large butler’s pantry; laundry room with brand new washer and dryer.

2nd floor: 6 bedrooms with 1 king, 2 queen, 5 twin beds, 4 full baths including claw foot tubs, and 2 fireplaces. 3 bedrooms have full ocean view.

3rd floor: 4 bedrooms with 1 queen, 2 full and 2 twin beds. 3 bedrooms have full ocean view. Brand new gorgeous bathroom (renovated 2015) with Carrara marble-tiled walk-in shower.

New mattresses in every bedroom.

This home is in walking distance to a public beach, as well as the charming downtown of Jamestown, with cafes, highly rated restaurants, shopping, library, and a beautiful marina on Narragansett Bay.

The house is a short drive to historic Newport or take a lovely ferry ride from downtown Jamestown across Narrangansett bay to Newport harbor.

On Jamestown enjoy fun family-friendly summer activities: hike in the Audubon Sanctuary, visit historic Fort Getty Park and Fort Wetherill State Park, bike to Beavertail Lighthouse State Park and visit the lighthouse museum, play golf at the public course, swim in nearby Mackerel Cove, kayak in Narragansett Bay, scuba in ocean caves on the island, and bring the kids to visit local Watson Farm and the windmill.

Elegant and understated

We were a group of 8 family and friends and had a magical stay. The house is incredible: comfy and roomy and such an elegant understated vibe. Bedrooms were gorgeous and comfy. Everyone had plenty of room to ramble. The porch and view are over the top. I wished we had booked a longer stay!!

Jamestown Family Reunion

This lovely house perched overlooking Narragansett Bay was the perfect spot for our 3 generations. We spent many hours on the porch reading and relaxing, cooking meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and playing games on the large lawn. Newport is a short drive away and Jamestown is just down the road with boats and shops. Everyone had a wonderful week!

Perfect spot for family reunion

Everything was great. Unfortunately oven was in process of repair. But plenty of alternative appliances to use. Super comfortable and the view is terrific. No better base on the island.

Spacious and relaxing.

Truly lovely. We are a large family, and to have this much space was a luxury! All the rooms were light and airy and well supplied with towels, fans, and other amenities. Beautiful views and a nice lawn for playing games like SPUD, and bocce ball. Eating on the big porch in the evening with the soft glow of candles was very special! A few small issues were addressed promptly by the owner. Thank you MaryEllen for providing a perfect week of family fun!
