The villa is located in the south of the island in the modern and quiet complex Pueblo Don Thomas near Playa Santiago and immediately above the 18-hole Tecina golf course. It has 3 bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), large living room and spacious kitchen as well as its own swimming pool and parking space for 2 cars. Suitable for 2 - 6 people.
Spectacular panoramic view of the sea, the golf course and the Teide, the highest mountain in Spain (Tenerife). Numerous restaurants in the nearby fishing village of Playa Santiago (reachable on foot in about 20 minutes, by car in 5 minutes)
Rental car is therefore highly recommended!

Wow. This was good

We spent 10 wonderful days in Casa La Sabina and La Gomera. Very quiet spot, beautiful house and views. Yes, on the balcony of the Atlantic. We did some nice hikes with Elisabeth and Bernhard, our hosts. The house has everything you need. Shopping in the village is easy. Some nice restaurants too. All over a wonderful relaxing stay. Thank you.

explicit location and worth the stay

Fits the description to the letter. Idyllically perched on top of a hill with a golf course giving almost to the sea. A 200° sea view from the swimming pooled terrace can only be described as a gateway to paradise. A few steps across the garden towards the edge of the property facing the sea lets you view the Teide's peak on a clear day. The villa is as charmiing inside as outside with excllent furnishings and spacious bathrooms and bedrooms lending itself to a very comfotable stay. The central air con during the summer months is a welcome relief for spending a peacful night. We spent a whole week in the villa and surroundings. We had the opportunity to meet the owners Bernhard & Elizabeth who made sure that we were comfortable and could spend a holiday without worries. I would certainly recommend the property which is spacious, comfortable and charming.

Beautiful villa with fantastic views

VILLA, INSIDE: Beautiful, well furnished and only recently offered for rental (we were the first guests through HomeAway). There are three en-suite bedrooms, plus a separate toilet. The master has great views over the Atlantic with Teide visible to the left. Beds (two singles with one headboard) are very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom is large with a great shower, bath and two basins. There was never an issue with hot water through our nine-day stay. The second upstairs bedroom has two separate beds and the third – which is downstairs – a double if I remember correctly. Our two daughters loved them. Living/dining area is spacious and nicely furnished with a large TV offering satellite programming. Well-equipped kitchen with small utility room attached. Everything is in excellent condition and very clean. Electronic blinds work very effectively throughout the property. VILLA, OUTSIDE: Again, fantastic views of the ocean (and golf course). Very well kept up with small pool (unheated), sun loungers/umbrellas and eating area. The pool is quite deep and suitable for older children only. There are pathways to the sides of the building with banana palms, shrubs/cacti and flowers. Double carport to front with remote-controlled grill. AREA: The villa is part of the residential complex of Pueblo Don Thomas with one of the best positions in the development. This is a very quiet residential area. Frankly, we saw so few people while we were there it was surprising. Everything is well kept up. Pueblo Don Thomas is on the outskirts of Playa Santiago with open land or smaller settlements between the villa and the small town, so a car is needed. There is one small restaurant and shop 1.5 km from the villa and the Hotel Jardin Tecina is also situated at roughly the same distance. OWNERS: A very nice couple; friendly and helpful with good English. The whole booking went very smoothly. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property.

Fabulous villa

From the moment we arrived we knew the villa was just as described and fulfilled all our expectations. Spotless throughout with beautiful fittings and furnishings. Most household things were provided and Elisabeth our host was most attentive and helpful. The views from the garden and pool were stunning. We recommend this villa and hope to return for another relaxing week.
