Stunning, romantic, guesthouse located 1 mile from Main Street near Cross Mountain. Only a 20 minute drive to The Enchanted Rock!

NOTE: Owners live on the property in the main house and will respect your privacy. There is a security camera facing the pool, required by our insurance company. NO PETS. **Please review House Rules before booking. **NEW Metal Roof was added in May, 2023**

Sink into the King Size memory foam bed after a long day of shopping and wine tasting. Relax with a hot cup of tea, or have a romantic quiet evening by the fire pit. Engage in a fun couples game of cards or take a starlit dip in the lighted pool(no hot tub). End your evening with a refreshing rinse in our spacious walk-in shower for 2 (no tub)!

You will have access to our custom made BBQ grill & Cauldron-style fire pit, as well as our heated pool (no hot tub)...there will be an additional flat fee of $250 if you wish to have the pool heated. The pool features a waterfall/grotto and a SLIDE, be a kid again and have a blast!

This is a NO SMOKING PROPERTY, please respect our wishes.

We have 4 indoor/outdoor dogs that you MAY encounter occasionally...they are extremely FRIENDLY! We do make every effort to keep them from disturbing you.

Behind the guest house we have a small flock of hens...feel free to offer them some blueberries (from the fridge) they will eat them right out of your hand!

Also, be warned, when hens lay eggs, they tend to make a big deal about it, so if you hear them making a fuss...breakfast is on the way!

Great Fredericksburg stay

Overall, this stay was clean and cozy. Off yhe main drag, it was a short drive to Main, HEB, and 290. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. We'd stay here again.

Perfect Stay

The Twisted Vine, was everything it was presented as, very nice, cozy & quiet. Owners very very nice, friendly and helpful. Would recommend and stay there again.

Loved our stay here!

We loved our stay in this cozy room. It was perfect for our visit to Fred! The location is convenient and the neighborhood is very quiet. Excellent hosts who were available and friendly, but not intrusive in any way. Highly recommend.

My husband and I used to visit Fredericksburg regularly and said we always wanted to retire here. We used to bring our children to climb the Enchanted Rock and most recently we brought our grand children. Well, I am retired and hopefully he will be too in the next 5 years. We moved here from the Houston area to enjoy quiet small town living, while still being close enough to town to enjoy all of it's wonderful unique shops, wineries and family owned restaurants.

We are "empty nesters" having raised 4 children, we now also have 6 grand children. Our family enjoys coming to visit us here, then we all go out on the town like tourists except we know all the great places to eat, drink and have fun! Ask us for recommendations...

Why they chose this property

It is the perfect couples getaway! Stay for a few days or a week...this is our backyard paradise that we want to share with others. The pool is amazing! It has a waterfall/grotto and a SLIDE...tap into your inner child and have fun! We have some pool noodles & floats for you to use as well.

We have 4 fur babies (2 miniature Dachshunds & 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks) all very friendly and love to meet new people! One guest recently told us we "have it all - Pool & Pups"!
