The front staff was not very friendly. They did not greet me or welcome me. The building however is very impressive and i highly recommend the building tour.

We’ve stayed here at this breathtaking hotel several times and this time I was completely dissatisfied. We stayed in room 220 and our room had a leak from the ceiling causing a huge wet spot on the carpet in the middle of the room. There were marks on the beams evident of similar leaks prior. When I called the front desk I spoke with Justin who offered me additional towels or a bucket. His response was ridiculous. This is a 4 star hotel and although I wasn’t interested in a total comp of our room, an offer of compensation for 1 night would’ve been acceptable. Justin offered to waive the resort fee $20.00 and in his words, a complementary upgrade on our next stay onto the higher floors where there aren’t any leaks. Not the best answer. This hotel is amazing, a true treasure and I’ve enjoyed its beauty and hospitality many times before but this visit really missed the mark. I’m truly disappointed.

The property's historic construction make a walk around the property a must see. From the circular stair case to the many architectural details, art pieces, numerus planters and water features the property is awesome. The facility was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.
