About this property

Bioluminescence Yacht Experience

Welcome Aboard!!

Experience this unique bareboat charter on the ocean among the glowing blue phosphoresence at night. Any movement creates a spectacular glow. The highlight is the ocean fireworks at night as waves and fish excite the dinoflagglet plankton to glow blue. A amazing zodiac tour of the inlet to your yacht for the evening.

Add this to porpoises chattering away and seals jumping in the night and on the shore, 100 yds away, bears and deer wander thru to get water from the stream behind you. Hummingbirds visit the red flowers onboard and eagles showoff to the blue herons by the oyster birds getting clams on shore. We have binocs to take this in.

Unrivaled location on the ocean in the Sechelt Inlet allows a view of spectacular sunrises, the monthly pods of orcas , sealions, and seals hunt for fry beneath you.

Snorkelling provided for starfish, rockfish and shellfish at the Aquarium rock 100 yds away. Fishing for crab out your backdoor, prawns 400 yards away at 300 ft, kayaking to 4 water access only beaches will keep you busy in the day. Fishing licence required.

This is a stealth way to sneak up on those 20 plus seals on islands minutes downwind.

Relax aboard while enjoying many amenities. 2 kayaks

Sleeps 2 - 4 best, but room for 6.
Salon aka living area features a custom double sofa bed (sleeps 2), 32 inch TV, and Blu Ray player. off a solar invertor so not continual use.. .

Master stateroom hosts an island style over-sized queen bed.

Solar shower and bath towels. Composting toilet. A freshwater hose on rear swim platform keeps the wet outside.

Dinette can fold down to make extra bed for 2 more.

Extra kayaks $40

Kitchen aka Galley has a coffee press and kettle, an electric 5 gal water dispensor tap, toaster oven, complete dish set and everything needed to live in comfort....BUT...

The boat is off grid 2km from any marina and 500 watts of solar is the primary power and an ice box is used instead of the fridge to conserve power. To keep the tranquility of the area we have a solar power, solar shower, a kettle and coffee press and bbq and side burner for all cooking.

Please be Animal Wise: cougar, black bears, sea otter, orcas, grizzly, wolves and sasquatch frequent the area but you are safest here on the water away from critters at night.

No extra non registered guests at the boat. And No Smoking to respect allergies of future guests.

Vehicle parking is $6 a day... Or free on street choice.

Propane grill is provided on the outside deck

The fybridge for upper views 10 ft off the water has a bluetooth stereo to compliment the ocean breeze and sounds of oyster birds and eagles soaring.

If you are reading yourself this rare OPPORTUNITY to view both the seaworld and the Milky Way glowing at night will simply astound you and resonate your childlike wonders.

WELCOME ABOARD!!

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay
We spent two nights on board for our anniversary and had a great time. Our first day was beautiful and sunny and we took the kayaks out around the quiet bay the yacht is anchored in. The remainder of our stay was on the rainy side so we didn’t get out on the water much after that but it was the perfect place to relax and there were plenty of games and movies to pass the time. Bruce was a great host, super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. He offered great tips for viewing the bioluminescence at night (which was SO cool), brought extra ice for the cooler, and even helped reunite me with my phone charger I left behind by mistake. We would love to come back and will definitely recommend to friends and family for a unique and scenic getaway.

What an experience
We stayed just one night aboard the off-grid yacht. It had everything we would need, and Bruce was excellent. My family and I loved the bioluminescence, the seals and wildlife, and especially the kayaking. We could never get enough starfish! Everything was great and being gently rocked to sleep on the waves was something we all enjoyed.
