A picture-perfect cottage on the edge of the Cotswolds, this gorgeous family home is full of character. In local stone, with a slate roof, sash windows and that all-important climbing rose by the front door, it's as typically English as afternoon tea. Spacious and bright, there are no fewer than three living rooms to choose from, with a choice between the formal living room and its luxury gas fire, the snug, and the TV room with its cosy log burner. The stunning kitchen extension is the heart of the home, with a grand country kitchen, high-end appliances and a huge island. The dining table seats eight and has doors opening out to a lovely terrace – with a barbecue and dining area of its own for summer evenings. The bedrooms are all serene and beautifully decorated, with features including antique furniture, vintage wall art and romantic soft furnishings. But it's the outdoor space that gives this home the upper hand. With a partly walled garden to the front, lawns, trees and an adjacent sheep field, it's a lovely spot no matter the season. Here you'll be just a five-minute drive from Blenheim Palace, with access to great country walks, pretty villages and great pubs.
