Great house superb location
This place was fantastic for access to walks in Hope Valley. The local pub was brilliant and people were very welcoming. The house has everything you could want and more. Very comfortable and relaxing place to be for the weekend. Hope to return one day! One issue I booked through Vrbo but received no information on the property access until I rang through to cottages.com this is the second property I’ve booked with Vrbo that I have had to search out the property access information myself. Will not be booking via Vrbo again!

Lovely house in a good area for walking
The house was nicely furnished, very clean and had everything we needed. I went with my daughter and we both noticed particularly the comfortable beds and duvets. Showers and bath were lovely too. The house is a small cottage and therefore not ideal for those who find stairs tricky but if you are a walker looking for a base to do some great local walks (Derwent Edge/Stanage Edge etc) then it is a wonderful spot to be at and the cottage was very comfortable.

It could be better
The place was well equipped and tidy. But the bedsheets were not clean, they had dirty spots all over and the pillows were full hairs, not really a pleasant surprise. And also we needed to buy toilet paper it was just half roll for 2 bathrooms, 4 people and 2 nights.
