Tranquil setting, it is a large detached architect-designed house, with a private secluded garden, parking for 5+ cars(intercom gated entrance). A light bright modern open plan house with all the amenities that a family require with 2 lounges one that doubles up as a cinema/games room and large southwest facing private garden(which is not overlooked) which has access from the house only. With Fast internet: download speed 1077 - 1139 Mbps it is possible to work from home, with desks in all the rooms.
Our road is a tree-lined dead-end road 10 minutes walk from Blackheath Village with a walk past Morden College and then open heath. On the way, you will pass the Prince of Wales public house which is next to a duck pond with views over the heath and of the village. From Blackheath station, there are trains to London Bridge take 12 mins/Charing Cross 20 mins (Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace). Or the Riverboats in Greenwich take about 15/20 minutes to get into central London. 10 minute cab ride to the O2.
A spacious, light and airy family-friendly home, plenty of space for 7 people, two large lounges, the downstairs lounge acts also as a cinema/games room, three bathrooms and a separate toilet. All modern conveniences as a family home with plenty of space for cooking, washing and lounging. A large (50x70 ft) private secluded southwest-facing garden with decking and family table area under the shade of the grapes and wisteria is perfect for eating outside.

Cosy, pretty home with beautiful garden

We had a fun 3 month stay at the very pretty Pond House whilst our home was being refurbished. The hosts are very responsive and gave us a full explanation of how everything worked before leaving and responded within the hour to any queries.

Blackheath stay

We just spent a week at this property in Blackheath over the Christmas period . Jay put up a lovely tree and decorations so made it feel homely . Great location and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. We had a great time with our family and enjoyed looking after Choccy the friendly resident cat .

Home from home

We were visiting London from Australia for a couple of weeks to see my parents who live locally. So it was really important to have somewhere we felt really comfortable in. The house soon felt like a home from home and looks as good in real life as it does in the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay. Our two children, who are 18 months and six loved it. They spent a lot of time playing in the garden. And it was also great place to have my family around to entertain. The road was nice and quiet- so it was a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of London. Nice walk into Blackheath and the owners were really helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

50th was fabulous

The property is a lovely home in a wonderful neighborhood. My wife and I came over for the month of May for our 50th wedding anniversary. Our children and their spouses also joined us, as did a special friend and her two guests late in the month. We mainly wanted to remember a joyful time in our marriage from when we lived in Blackheath 27 years earlier. We used this as a time to relax and enjoy the area and make a few trips. The owners were very supportive throughout the trip, including the planning and post-travel times. They also went out of their way to look for and find a valuable piece of jewelry that we had lost during our trip. Thank you!
