About this property

Attractive thatched roof property in the idyllic Cotswold village of Ebrington.

Harrowby End is a beautiful 18th century thatched cottage set within the picturesque Cotswolds village of Ebrington (as featured in Penelope Keith's 'Hidden Villages'). Everything about this Grade II listed stone property oozes comfort and taste. Completely refurbished in 2020, the cottage still retains many of charming historic features including an inglenook fireplace and exposed wooden beams.

From the moment you step inside this stunning, semi-detached cottage you are greeted by a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Harrowby End is a true home from home. The ground floor comprises an open-plan sitting and dining area with exposed beams and day-dreaming window seats. The inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove is the focal point of the room and the perfect addition on cool winter evenings when all you want to do is curl up on the comfortable sofas as the night draws in. The compact yet well-equipped kitchen has everything you need and looks out onto the lovely cottage garden, however you might be tempted not to cook at all, with an award winning pub within stumbling distance!
