The highlight of this apartment is the roof-top terrace overlooking the city and the countryside beyond. It's a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or 'sun-downer' in the evening.

Easy access into the Cardiff city centre and with the trendy neighbourhood of Pontcanna nearby there are plenty of local, independent coffee shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy within a 10-15 minute walk.

This stylish two bedroom apartment is a fantastic place to base yourself whilst in Cardiff. The apartment is on the second floor of a traditional Cardiff building in a quiet, leafy residential neighbourhood.

I'm Claire and I'll be your host at this apartment. Whilst I'm not on-site I'll be on-hand via messages or a phone call if you need anything. There's lots to see and do in the city
and I'd be happy to give you some recommendations.

Our business is called Switchback Stays and we run several properties as self-contained apartments for visitors to the city. We also live in Cardiff (and have done for over 20 years) so know the city and the surrounding areas well.

Outside of giving our guests a top-quality stay and experience I have a background in sport, specifically tennis. I have been a tennis coach for over 20 years and as a junior player reached national level. My proudest achievement came in 2019 when I had the fantastic opportunity to represent Great Britain in the Seniors World Team Championships at Miami.

Why they chose this property

As soon as we saw this apartment we knew it would be perfect for our guests. It's a great location, on a quiet street and a short walk to independent shops, restaurants and coffee shops. There's also a walk through the leafy park Bute Park into the city centre.

Pontcanna, where this apartment is located is one of our favourite areas of Cardiff. Our designer loved making the most of the space with contemporary furniture and some bespoke finishing touches.

This apartment has a roof top terrace with table & chairs over-looking the Ridgeway woodland in the distance. An ideal space for a relax after a busy day in Cardiff.
