The town itself has an interesting assortment of eateries, country inns, and craft shops. Okehampton Castle, the lovely RHS Rosemoor Gardens in Torrington, and even the imposing surfing beaches in Bude are all accessible by car. Hatherleigh is ideally situated to visit this part of Devon due to its central location.
