Great Location and charming cottage.
This cottage was great. Not too much money but easy jump off location to explore all that the Cotswolds has to offer. The cottage was tidy, had all the amenities you'd want. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and clearly well cared for. We were charmed for sure. Access was easy and when we had questions, they were quick to call and guide us on where to park. Lovely spot. My only complaints were that the gardener came during our stay which I guess can't be avoided but we were out having coffee after a long day of travel and our first night and had to vacate the garden for whipper snipping. Garden grows when it grows though. Also, the cottage is heavily scented with smelly diffusers and plug in things so caution to anyone who is scent sensitive.

Delightful
We had a wonderful stay at Bea’s Cottage which is peaceful and perfectly located for exploring the many nearby towns and villages in The Cotswolds. We were hoping to fully self-cater here so constructive criticism would be to update the kitchen inventory to include a casserole dish, a roasting pan, a colander/sieve. A washing line and pegs, or a clothes horse would have been useful too. Otherwise, the cottage was exactly what we were looking for and I would have no hesitation recommending it to others.

Everything we needed for a short break
A lovely comfortable homely cottage perfect for a 5 day break for my sister and I. We both agreed the interior was even better than expected from the information. Cleanliness was excellent and we had everything we needed, although I would suggest having some place mats to protect the dining table. We did miss a full length mirror although in our case that was probably a good thing. The cottage is situated in a picturesque village with an excellent pub about half a mile down the same lane and therefore within walking distance, we enjoyed two excellent meals there. Cirencester is a short drive, about 3 miles and car parking was not a problem as there are plenty of car parks. We also enjoyed a contemporary play at the Barn theatre in Cirencester with again plenty of parking. Booking this cottage was very easy with several pleasant and informative emails from StayCotswold along the way. I also have to thank Darren for helping me retrieve a bag I left there and not making me feel an idiot.

Week-long stay in Ampney Crucis
Our week-long stay in a lovely Cotswolds cottage was a wonderful family getaway. The local pub was excellent, offering delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The picturesque surroundings and quaint village added to the charm. However, the cottage could use some improvements. It was not well-equipped, with limited supplies like one roll of toilet paper and kitchen paper. The absence of wardrobes, laundry tablets for the washing machine, and a tin opener were minor inconveniences. Overall, it was a great experience, but these improvements would enhance future stays.

Lovely Character Cottage in a peaceful location
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage which is full of character, original features, low beams and wonky floors. We chose this cottage because we wanted a dog friendly garden, in a peaceful location and this didn't disappoint. The enclosed good size back garden was a great place for our Jack Russell to run around and play ball. It does have a small escape route (by the power point at the end of the garden) but this wasn't a problem for us. We were lucky enough to have a mini heatwave when we stayed, so made the most of the sun trap at the end of the garden each evening, and we're pleasantly surprised that the thick walls kept the cottage nice and cool, which was a welcome relief when we returned from our days out exploring the picturesque South Cotswolds. Just a couple of points, the bathroom basin taps are the wrong way round, (cold is usually on the right as you look at the taps) and although there were some coat hangers on the back of the main bedroom door, a small rail/wardrobe would be a great addition. The kitchen is small and well equipped, although no pint glasses, there were plenty of wine glasses and tumblers for us to use. We were delighted that Bea's cottage is just like the pictures and detailed write up on the website, we found the place extremely clean and tidy and always manage to park on the road outside the property. We would definitely recommend Bea's Cottage to friends and would visit again if in the area, as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this relaxing location, which is also an easy walk through the village to a welcoming dog friendly pub.
