Friendly helpful staff

Loved having our own veranda over looking over the river. Older accomadation however clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful

River view motel

Pros: Clean, comfortable and free WiFi.
Location: Motel is opposite the original Police Camp which has been restored to depict the police camp in the late 1800s/early 1900s. Easy walk to town sights.
Clean motel with outside covered area with table and chairs overlooking river. Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if visiting this area.

Fabulous room

Pros: Big room, comfortable beds, close to the main street, lovely views.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: On the edge of the town of Donald right on the river. Walking distance to the pub, a Chinese restaurant and a decent take-away place which has pizzas.
My mother and I stayed in Donald during a road trip around Victoria. We liked the idea of staying by a river which is why we chose this motel. We were delighted with the room particularly as we had been put in the family room instead of a twin so it was very spacious. The beds were comfortable, there was a small table and a couch to watch the TV on. There was also a balcony overlooking the river. The bathroom was clean and functional. The staff were very friendly.
