Lovely hotel and great ambience. From the hotel restaurant where it has a casual but semi-formal restaurant feel, to the lovely Concierge staff and the wonderful bar area with old fashioned leather chairs surrounding two fireplaces. The rooms are comfortable and homely - without being lavish. A great autumn escape

Welcome to this charming spot boasting an incredible restaurant that'll knock your socks off. While the pool is cool, watch out for the staff on a mission to give you an icy reception by switching off the heater (happened twice, folks!). The rooms offer ample space, but the cleanliness could use a superhero's touch. And brace yourself for a symphony of plumbing that's louder than a rock concert.

Perhaps because it is an old place, it had a very special feel, and the slightly dark lobby felt really comfortable, so I wanted to stay one more day. The design of the room was stylish and very clean and unique. Watching a Netflix movie with my husband on bed was a great time. I will come again
