A nightmare
I arrived late, they had told me they would leave my entrycard under the flowerbox but the flowebox was behind a closed door. So I spent an hour trying to contact them, but nobody answered. I had to sleep in the street. The worst service ever.

Whilst we wanted a non smoking room, the room smelt of smoke; not pleasant for non smokers. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. That said the room was clean and tidy and (smoking aside) good. It feels slightly over priced compared to many other properties I have stayed at. It is only a short walk to the railway station which gets you into central Amsterdam quickly. The staff were very friendly. Would i stay here again-no

Lovely small clean hotel
Was a small tidy clean hotel guy at check in was brilliant help and made sure we knew of there was anything needed he was there, we booked for a cheap couple nights stay close to centre so only really used it for sleep but the area was lovely and train 10 min walk away takes you straight to the centre and back pretty much any time up to 1am.

Only thing I like was easy to connect the train to Amsterdam central. The room was so small and very expensive for that price The whole three night no one clean our room. Just changing the towels. But the staffs were nice Especially the guy at the bar was cool.

Basic and very clean!
We had a good stay at the Keizerkroon. It appeared the hotel was recently built. The room was very nice but was basic - just two twin beds and a chair for the desk. They had bedside light units that plugged directly into the socket (no wire/cable) and it's easy to move one to the desk area for light while working on your computer. The bathroom was spotless, functional, and adequate in size. We were slightly concerned about the noise from the main highway right outside our window, but with the doubel/triple glazed windows and plenty of insulation, we could not hear much traffic. The entire facility, inside and out, was well maintained. We did not have breakfast as we thought the price a little high and besides we wanted to get a good start out the door each day. The bar, dining area, and the breakfast bar were very nice and well cared for. Parking was free and very adequate for cars and larger vehicles. WiFi was extremely good and fast. We have decided the next time we're in the area, Hotel de Keizerkroon will be our first choice!
