The hotel is in very nice location close to everything 10-25 minutes walk very nice neighborhood. A few cafes steps away from hotel , little boutiques and shops on the same street. Albert Heijn Supermarket conveniently across the street. A couple a minute walk to tram stations. I would recommend the hotel for a few night stay although the rooms are very small and no refrigerator and the windows were not opening to get some fresh air. Upon arrival the room smelled funky. Very helpful reception area.

Melrose Hotel was pretty central to most attractions and places to eat. 20 minutes walking to some. But walking to end of road, able to use the number 17 Tram to where you wanted. Make sure you have your bank card/visa etc as no cash on trams.

There were no bath soaps offered and the beds were very dirty/gross and door latch did not work on bathroom. We had a short stay or would have switched hotels. The hotel is in what seemed to be a safe area but one street over was covered in trash. Lots of food options and walkable to the Ann Frank House.
