Great welcome. Friendly and professional at Reception. Room lovely. Disappointed with the upgrade we’d paid for. Last time we had more wine/food in fridge. Also the Lounge on 15th floor was full - no seats to sit and enjoy time, food and drinks. Breakfast in the morning was a challenge- no seats, long queues and food and drink cold by the time we could walk to our seats. Felt like there could have been 2 sides to hot food. I realise there had been an event , and the hotel was very busy, but disappointed to pay so much for inferior service. We enjoyed our stay, but feel it’s important to share this feedback.

Ideally located for a concert at the OVO Hydro. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Cracking view of the River Clyde from our 9th floor room. Enjoyed the bar, we couldn't get a table in the restaurant for dinner as it was fully booked, no big deal as the bar food is very good. Breakfast was very busy. We were seated in the back room which they used as an overspill area. I suggest you avoid going down around 10 am. Breakfast is buffet style, great selection of hot and cold food on offer. Great tattie scones and haggis! We enjoyed our say and would return.

Can’t fault this place that we stay time and time again when going to the Hydro. We did have an issue with our room but the Team sorted it pretty quick for us and was apologetic. Find the breakfast to always be of high quality and ten options varied. The car park that’s joined to the hotel is great and ten views from certain rooms are great. If I had to say one thing to balance the review it would be the Club lounge gets full pretty quick due to size, it was well stocked and they do offer up the Mezz level seating as over spill so not the end of the world.
