The staff was excellent, we felt welcomed and safe. The hotel is located in a very dense section of Amsterdam with a ton of foot traffic passing by. The front street had a lot of litter every morning. But the Luxor was well maintained. Its an older building so needs some upkeep. It was close to everything and we were able to walk to all destinations. All in all our experience was positive.

Hotel is old but well kept. Close walking distance from central station and trams. There is no heater in room or extra comforter it does get cold. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms are tight but not really a problem. Shower is slippery no mat. Overall good place to stay. Restaurants all over. Would recommend this hotel as you really don’t spend too much time in hotel since Amsterdam is such a beautiful city !!!

Quirky little place just on the outskirts of the Red Light area, but very close to the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

I did not like the light shing in our window all night (room 107). Small room, but did the job. No parking anywhere near the hotel, we had to pay an asrtonomical amount to park at a hotel down the street. Location was great. Staff was nice. Price was fair. Would not stay in that room again due to the light outside the window.
