Most staff are really friendly and helpful. Super warm, comfortable and welcoming lobby area and dining room. Complimentary breakfast was great. Clean room and bathroom but a draught came through the bottom of the bedroom window. Furnishings are tired but on the accommodation was great value. Would stay again.

The pros...fabulous Chelsea location close to transport options and can walk to all kinds of awesome things from here. Great dining options and coffee close by. Free hotel breakfast buffet with a large range of options. Tommy and Amber were wonderful on the front desk always ready with a smile and a kind word. Both a credit to the hotel. Cons....other front desk staff cold and surly bordering on rude. Even when greeted with a smile no smile in return. Housekeeping is hit and miss. Says every 4 days but my room was only cleaned once and bedding never changed, it seems completely random. I booked a long while in advance but had a lower floor room with a view of a wall and aircon machine. The worst thing though was the noise. It was awful.. old building with thin uninsulated walls so every flush of a toilet, loud voices, water running can be heard. The constant slamming of doors and corridor noise meant i didnt get a single full nights sleep and was driven mad to the point of turning the tv on to cover the noise and try to relax. It was like staying in the middle of Grand Central Station i'm sorry to say. I loved New York but would stay somewhere quieter next time. If noise doesnt bother you you would be fine here.
