The hotel is lovely and the decor is really nice. The room was a nice size and clean. The breakfast was tasty and all the staff were so nice! My only complaint is that there is no shade for the window in the bathroom so in the mornings we had to shut the door to prevent light from flooding into the room and waking us up.

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel for five nights and greatly enjoyed our stay. The room was very cozy with a comfortable bed, good water pressure from the shower, and nice-smelling soaps/shampoos. There was a lovely lobby with a nice coffee machine and water filter filling bottles. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to help us. The hotel is also a quick, less than five minute, walk to the train station that takes you to the Amsterdam Central Station (probably 10 min on the train). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you have trouble with stairs. This hotel has a lot of stairs, but worth it!

A Cozy and Quirky Gem in Haarlem My stay at Boutiquehotel Staats in Haarlem was nothing short of delightful. Visiting from the 4th to the 6th of April for both an anniversary celebration and a gathering of gaming buddies, this hotel exceeded expectations in every aspect. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere welcomed us. The presence of a chicken coop in the garden added a charming touch to the ambiance. The interior décor, featuring a blend of classic and eclectic artwork, created a unique and aesthetically pleasing environment. Our room was a haven of comfort and style. With ceilings that seemed to touch the sky and Marilyn Monroe portraits adorning the walls, every detail exuded charm. The bed, adorned with plush cushions, provided a cocoon of relaxation. Complimentary water, teas, and luxurious toweling robes and slippers added to the feeling of pampering. While the shower's unconventional placement in the middle of the room might not be to everyone's taste, it added a quirky touch to the experience. However, it's worth noting that privacy might be a concern for some guests. The lounge room was a highlight of our stay. Stocked with an abundance of teas, coffees, and a fridge filled with an array of beverages, it was a cozy space to unwind and socialize. Conveniently located near Haarlem station on a picturesque residential street, Boutiquehotel Staats offers the perfect blend of accessibility and tranquility.

Fantastic hotel. Loved the decor and the staff were all really helpful. Used the coffee lounge and rented the bikes. Def recommend if you like a boutique hotel
