I booked a single room at Woodbine for my father who was attending my daughter's graduation at Exeter University. The owners let my dad check in early and he said the whole experience of staying there was excellent, the property was comfortable and clean and the owners were very helpful.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Woodbine and once again we weren't disappointed. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you go through the door. It has a very homely atmosphere and the rooms are cosy and well styled. There is fresh coffee, cafetiere,milk,tea in your room and variety of fruit and herbal teas are also available. The breakfast is AMAZING and delivered to your room in a hamper - this includes fresh milk,orange juice,hot bacon sandwiches, granola,fresh fruit,yoghurts,pastry, croissants and a small box of cereal. Certainly enough to keep you going all morning. The location is perfect for the city centre and you are only 5 min walk from the 2 main train stations Central and St Davids. There is parking onsite for one vehicle or you are issued a permit for the on street parking if this space is taken. Julie is an amazing host and we always enjoy our stay here.

Very pretty residence.
Picture perfect would best describe this B&B. Very feminine decor throughout. the towels were the fluffiest I have ever encountered and the addition of an even fluffier robe was special and most appreciated. The breakfast basket idea is unique and suited me well but others may look for a more traditional breakfast. My bed, a single, was only just big enough for me, and here again others might find it too small. But overall, my stay was delightful.

Clean comfortable and convenient. On site parking first come first serve. 5 to 10 minutes walk to Cathedral and Quay. Quiet safe area. Excellent breakfast!!! Recommend the Woodbine to anyone staying in Exeter.

Great room convenient for train and airport
Good room, comfy pillows, really nice people happy to help with directions and recommendations. The location is great for the airport bus (it stops <2 min away!) and multiple train stations. I hadn't realised the room was 'private bathroom' and not 'ensuite' when booking (my fault), but it was still a really nice. Great selection of herbal teas.

Good location, walking distance from the train station and town centre. Well kept and homely property. Welcoming and hospitable host. Room (Heather) cosy and comfortable and had all we needed and more. Very generous breakfast hamper. Enjoyed our two night stay and would highly recommend!
