The external part of the property needs painting and looks terrible from the outside considering its neighbouring properties.. I’m surprised the council have not said something about this with the other graded listed buildings surround this property

Handy little hotel in brilliant town
The hotel was close to a massive Medium and Long Stay Car Park but also has it's own car park if you get there quickly enough. There is also an alleyway over the road which cuts straight through to the main paved shopping street where the range of shops , restaurants and cafes are excellent. The interesting Minster is about 10 minutes walk away. The hotel does a very good cooked breakfast to order for less than £10. The room was cosy but very hot. The bed was comfortable but the pillows weren't. Bath and shower were good too. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall a wortwhile stay.
