Unique Home in the Heart of Downtown Victor with Loads of Amenities

Come enjoy a winter getaway in beautiful Victor, ID! This unique little house is small in size but BIG in style, comfort, and amenities! Just 1.5 blocks from the center of downtown Victor. Central to all area attractions without the crowds and traffic of Jackson. Two world-class ski resorts and miles of unparalleled backcountry skiing await. Or just enjoy the slow-paced beauty and charm of Teton Valley. For a weekend getaway or a full vacation, this house will meet all of your needs with style!

This wonderful little house recently underwent a full renovation, including electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and a full overhaul of the inside living space. The result is a beautiful, well-appointed space that has been thoughtfully decorated and stocked to meet the needs of somebody who wants to visit the Greater Teton Area while living like a local.

Although this is a small house, all of the rooms are full-sized. No lofts or ladders to climb. Thoughtfully laid out with comfort and relaxation being the main consideration. Plush bedding and towels, a full dresser, closet space, a fully stocked kitchen, Wi-fi, and a television with access to Netflix and Hulu are just some of the amenities that will make you feel right at home. In the summer and fall months, we provide cruiser bikes and helmets for you to ride to explore our wonderful town.

Our house is centrally located to many of our area's attractions:
*40 minutes to the town of Jackson
*40 minutes to Grand Targhee ski resort with world-class skiing in the winter and several music festivals in the summer months
*1 hour from the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort- home of the country's best skiing
*1.5 hours from Yellowstone National Park
*1 hour from Grand Teton National Park
*4 hours from Salt Lake City

Miles of mountain biking and cross-county ski trails are at your disposal, as is the majestic Snake River. We also have 6 golf courses in our valley, offering golf opportunities at all price points. Several area music festivals, and a free weekly music series in the Victor City Park during the summer months make ours a wonderful town to visit. Teton Valley truly is a 4-season destination not to be missed, and our little house is the perfect home base from which to explore it all.

You will have access to the entire house, including the basement, which has a full sized washer and dryer. The house is located on a large lot with plenty of outdoor space, including a table and chairs in the front of the house where you might enjoy your morning coffee, and a grass yard with an outdoor seating set area that is perfect for enjoying an evening cocktail and a view of our gorgeous mountains.

Living room: a comfortable couch, a deep, comfy chair, two end tables, pleasing lighting, a wall-mounted smart TV with access to your Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon TV accounts, as well as a DVD player with a selection of movies make this space a nice area in which to relax and unwind. The dresser is stocked with books and games, and don't miss the record player with an eclectic selection of vinyl!

Kitchen: the fully-functional kitchen opens into the living space. It has a sink, stove/oven, refrigerator, and microwave. It has a full selection of plates and dishes, silverware and cooking utensils, a variety of glassware, as well as a large selection of pots and pans, mixing bowls, food storage containers, quality knives, a colander, toaster, blender, tea kettle, coffee maker, and coffee/creamers/sweeteners, and a selection of teas. We have empty shelves for you to store your own food. A drop-leaf table houses kitchen towels, napkins, and place mats, as well as essentials such as plastic wrap and aluminum foil. The table offers several extension options to convert to a useful work space, computer table, or a full-sized dining table.

Bathroom: although it is small, this space is thoughtfully laid out and quite functional. it is stocked with an abundance of thick, fluffy towels, as well as basic toiletries. The rain shower head has amazing pressure, and a long, hot shower after a day of hiking or skiing is a treat not to be missed!

Bedroom: a queen-sized platform bed with a memory foam mattress topper, super-soft linens, and pillow galore ensure a restful night of sleep during your visit. A full-sized closet with lots of hangers and a dresser give you plenty of space to store your belongings.

Entry area: this area has a bench and several hooks for you to hang your coats and jackets, as well as ample space for your skis, snowboards, and boots. This space keeps all of your "toys" contained and out of the way.

We do not live on the property, but are just 2 miles away should you need any hands-on assistance. Otherwise, we are very hands-off, allowing you to enjoy the Center Street Guest House as your own little haven while you enjoy our town and area attractions.

Our house is located in a family neighborhood in the heart of downtown Victor, just a block and a half from the center of town. Although Victor is a small town, don't let the size fool you. There are 11 restaurants, 2 breweries, 2 clothing boutiques, a bike shop, a liquor store, a home goods shop, a couple of coffee shops, a movie theater, a grocery store, 2 gas stations, a laudromat, a bank, a library, a city park, a bike park, and the Victor Emporium (DO NOT leave town without trying one of their famous huckleberry milkshakes!), all within walking or biking distance of the Center Street Guest House. The Spud Drive-In movie theater is a 5 mile drive up the highway, and is not be missed during the summer months.

You will need to rent a car if you hope to explore the area attractions. There is a bus that runs to Jackson on weekday mornings and returns from Jackson on weekday afternoons, and the stop for the bus is within walking distance of the Center Street Guest House.

Come enjoy the quiet side of the Tetons!

Nice tiny house
We came down to ski and this house served our needs. We could walk into town for dinner and easily get to the ski hill. There were all the things we needed including a shovel, which we needed after the snow buried the car and we had to shovel the driveway in order to get out!

A perfect home base and central location
This little cottage provides all the accommodations that make the stay cozy and fuss-free. Super comfortable sleep, useful kitchen with all the essentials. Even the washer dryer came in handy as things got muddy from hiking. The perfect touchdown pad for Jackson and the surrounding beautiful area!
