Unfortunately, when we arrived for check-in, we were immediately greeted with a poor attitude from the representative at the desk. I requested her name for Managment. I had inquired about an early check-in two days prior and was advised that that would not be a problem. They would accommodate a 2 PM check in instead of 4 PM. When the staff member at the front desk had a perturbed look on her face I asked, is there a problem? She advised there was no note for an early check-in, but in note for a late check out, I had informed her that that’s not what I had requested and asked if there would be any issues. The girl at the front counter said with extreme attitude. I’ll try. It made myself and my husband completely uncomfortable. I had stayed here many years ago and received excellent service. That’s why I thought it would be best to return. This will be our last time ever booking at this hotel as we were graded with unneeded attitude. We were able to check in early at 2:30 pm therefore I do not feel that the attitude was needed when checking in. The agent did not advise us which way the room was, and seemed to be inconvenienced when we asked her. I completely understand that at times this hotel might be shortstaffed, however we felt uncomfortable and uninvited & it set the tone of the visit. The restaurant staff and food was amazing!! We will order from the restaurant again and take it home.
