This recently renovated apartment combines the classic roman charm of the original roof beams with the modern style of furnishing.

This enchanting apartment is located on the ground floor of a typical XIX century building.
It enjoys a private entrance in a reserved alley. This allows you to spend a quiet night while living in Trastevere, one of the most vibrant area of Rome's city center.
This comfortable and fully renovated suite welcomes guests that will feel immediately homey thanks to its warm atmosphere.

The apartment with modern furnitures has all comforts you may wish to enjoy your stay: Plasma TV, Smart TV, free WiFi, open kitchen fully equipped with electric cookers, frigobar, coffee machine and microwave oven.
The Bedroom has a king size bed with direct access to the very spacious bathroom with mixed jet shower and two window that overlooking a private internal courtyard.

It is perfect for 2 or 3 people as the living room is equipped with a cozy sofa-bed, where you can have a good rest in the night or relaxing while reading a book daytime.

The house is located in the heart of Trastevere, the picturesque medieval district located on the west bank of the Tiber. Part of the historic center of Rome is the perfect place to catch a glimpse of the old world while enjoying the today life of Romans people.
A few blocks from the apartment you can find the open air market in Piazza San Cosimato where the stands display a rich range of fruit and vegetables, Piazza Trilussa the most popular meeting place in the area and many other alleys where you can take a break for a drink or eat the good food of Roman cuisine.

If you want to take public transport, the area is extremely well served by buses or the Tram such as number 8 or H to Termini station or many others in the direction of the city center. Our stop is "Piazza Sonnino".
Equidistant from the Colosseum and the Vatican, our accomodation is the ideal place to discover the secrets of Rome.
San Pietro and the Vatican city are about twenty minutes by walk and crossing the Tevere from the Garibaldi Bridge you get to Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, the Roman Forum, Colosseum and many other attractions by walking in a maximum of 15-30 minutes.

My husband and I loved staying in Trastevere! The location was perfect for us. It was quiet in the morning to have a cappuccino from a local bar. And easy to find a delicious restaurant at night. The suite had everything we needed and it was very easy to communicate with the host. It made staying in Rome feel like home.

Unbelievable location
To say this was a perfect location does absolutely no justice to this property. This was our first trip to Rome and we could not have been happier. Like any large European metropolitan we did A LOT of walking. Then we were able to come back to our place, rest, and walk around the corner and have an absolutely incredible amount of choices for eating / drinking. Stefano was fantastic! He met us at the apartment, showed us around and checked on us through the week. Though we did not feel we needed anything. We had a 10 day stay and fresh towels were provided throughout. He also secured transit from and back to the airport which was a great help. Yes, bathroom and bedroom were small by US standards, but you'd never be able to find this space with this access (door on the street) in any hotel. Bed might have been a scooch smaller than a US king but we were incredibly comfortable in it. I recommend this place 1000% wholeheartedly.

Great Location
Great location for our first visit to Rome. The Vatican and Colosseum are both within walking distance. Many good restaurants in the neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Good location, cute place but could use some updates
Our checkin process was smooth and the location of the property is great. The apartment is cute as well. However it could have been cleaner. Also the towels and bed linens were worn out and need to be replaced. Mattress is old and stiff and needs to be replaced. There were no sheets on the bed. There was very little hot water in the shower (2-3 minutes at most). A decent stay but it could have been better. Also Rome is amazing.

The property was exactly as shown on the listing. It was super clean, comfortable, and the location was amazing. The neighborhood is perfect and close to everything in Rome. We were able to walk to the Pantheon and Colosseum in 20 minutes. And the best gelato place is within feet from the front door, a wine bar within two minutes and lots of churches to sightsee all in the neighborhood. Stefan was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. He made the check-in process easy. If you have a chance, we highly recommend and will be staying there again.

The best place to stay in Rome
Stefano's apartment was absolutely perfect for the two of us. We had everything we needed plus more for a very comfortable stay. You are just steps from the best restaurants in Rome, all at reasonable prices. Whatever you want is literally steps from your front door: gelato. cappuccino, street food, fine dining, the best pasta and pizza and baked goods, Foodies Rejoice! Stefano goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable, and he personally met us to give us a brief orientation to the apartment and the area. He is available to communicate with before and during your stay, You can WALK every where from this charming apartment. The area (TRASTAVERE) comes alive at night with locals and tourists seeking the best food and most congenial neighborhood. You will not regret staying here. Don't even think of staying elsewhere.

Wonderful Location
In the heart of Trastevere but very quiet on a dead end lane. Unit is fairly compact but had everything we needed including a comfortable king size bed and a small but very good shower with lots of hot water. The kitchenette was a bit cramped but did all we needed as we just had breakfast in the unit. Cooking a meal would have been a bit awkward. Great food available close by, we particularly enjoyed Ai Bozzi just around the corner

Everything you imagine Rome to be!
This was our favorite part of the trip, it was perfect! The area was gorgeous, during the day it was slow paced with students getting history lessons in the piazza and locals going to work. But at night the whole area comes alive! All the restaurants start setting out their tables for dinner service, the street venders are organizing their booths. Then the tourists,and locals alike start making their way in for a fun night out for dinner and drinks. There is no shortage of choices on restaurants or bars. I suggest to try a new place every night, you won't regret it. Once the night is over and your back in the flat. The ally is quite and clean,no noise from the main strip makes its way in to the house. In the morning I suggest taking a walk, smelling all the restaurants baking the bread and prepping for the day, until you end up at a café called Bar Latteria and get a coffee and a pastry. You won't regret it! Thank you Stefano, for opening you home to us! It was clean, well appointed, safe and cozy. We enjoyed every second of our stay in Trastevere. It couldn't have been more perfect! We will be back! So until next time,Arrivederci!
