Giro Cinder MIPS Road Bike Helmet
The Cinder MIPS provides all the features an avid road rider wants in a lightweight package. The design is inspired by the classic aesthetic to the premium Giro Synthe helmet, offering similar performance and style. Key features include the Roc Loc 5 fit system, which allows you to easily dial in fit tension and adjust vertical position with a single hand. Air-FX padding offers comfort on your longest rides, and the helmet is equipped with MIPS to redirect impact energy, providing more protection in certain impacts.

Prof MacKay I needed to replace the excellent Giro Atmos that probably saved my life in in ice-crash in November. Giro told me that its up-to-date equivalent is the Cinder. In fact, the Cinder is even better. A perfect fit, and at a good price with speedy delivery (even by normal post) from Merlin. I'm delighted with the helmet. Just wish Giro made some sort of protection against broken femurs!

M Nice lightweight helmet. I got the small as I'm at bigger range of the small - my last Giro helmet was small and fit perfectly, but with this model, I would advise getting the next size up if you're between sizes. I changed out the buckles from my old helmet, as the quality of those seems to have gone downhill since I bought my last Giro. The ones provided felt flimsy and hard to operate.
Mr Byrne Great helmet, I also have a Giro Isode which has a different fitting system, this digs in at the back of my head so I thought I would try the Cinder as it has a more advanced fitting system. I have done a sportive plus my normal 150km/week rides and it is comfy, light and looks better than my old helmet. I highly recommend this product and also the service from Merlin was good, it turned up quickly and well packed.

A Jones Great helmet for a decent price. First new helmet for 5-6 years and this feels very secure and comfortable following a couple of 3 hour rides. MIPS system offer added protection, very secure feeling all round.
