Really nice gardens

Really nice gardens, very well set out with a map given to you at the beginning and explained how to get around. Was very impressed with the vegetables they were growing! The afternoon tea was lovely, one of the best ones I've ever had with a lot of tea and coffee supplied. The only downside was the actual tea rooms were quite old fashioned, and I think that it could be upgraded slightly :)

What a wonderful time my wife & I had at Barnsdale Gardens today. Such a lovely place to look round and admire all their work. After strolling round in the sunshine we then had afternoon tea. Oh my goodness, it was amazing, truly scrumptious ?? again we were outside in the sunshine, beautiful. All the staff from the minute we arrived to the people serving us were an absolute delight, very helpful & nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going back, thank you for making our day so enjoyable.

This was a Christmas present which unfortunately I was unable to use until October. I would have liked to have seen the gardens in summer but even in October there was a lot to see. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and the afternoon tea was very good.

We were lucky to have a sunny day in October for our lovely stroll around the gardens, followed by a delicious afternoon tea,served by such nice staff.

Barnstable is worth visiting at different times of the year. There’s so much variety and loads of planting ideas for normal sized back gardens. The beautifully presented afternoon tea is substantial and the staff are well prepared with takeaway boxes when you’ve reached your limit!

Gift was originally spa day which since lockdown so I went for this as it was local but gardens had dried up in the hot summer so was disappointed with them. The afternoon tea was nice
