Beautiful location, amazing castle but a bit disappointed with the afternoon tea. Sandwiches were nice enough, cakes not the best. Chocolate fudge was not great, scones quite dry. Not much effort in presentation.

Nice afternoon tea, although we waited nearly an hour to eat because they had a wedding on at the same time who used the bar in the brasserie where we were seated. Our complaint was dealt with really well, and Sophie Byron warrants a special mention who was excellent and professional in resolving.

You can have afternoon tea at many hotels and such like but the castle and surroundings at Peckforton make this very special. Food and service was excellent and walking around the venue was a delight. An excellent gift.

Peckforton Castle is a lovely castle, looks of nooks to peek into! I bought both of the afternoon teas on offer and they were both very nice. We were in a very nice setting and staff overall were attentive

Fantastic setting at Peckforton castle on a beautiful sunny August afternoon. Sandwiches were very tasty, the scones very light and cakes - well I enjoyed them so much I wanted more!! Service was swift and friendly,
