Our break was easy to book with Buyagift which made for a smooth check in at the crowne plaza, we thought the package was great value for money, we had no problems with the hotel we arrived for check in and was welcomed by Karim who gave us the best welcome we have ever had from any hotel, he was very friendly and knowledgeable and best of all he gave us an upgrade to an executive sweet, so big thank’s to karim our room was brilliant and had so much space, also would like to say a big thank you to Grace who works her socks off in the restaurant she was very kind and efficient, some of the management should take note, food was great in the hotel, really enjoyed the afternoon tea a great selection and portion size, the breakfast’s were great had plenty of choice, the hotel is in a great location for near by attractions such as Windsor castle, Lego land and Thorpe park also cliveden national trust is very close by so great for walking round the gardens and maybe a bite to eat in the orangery cafe, overall our stay was great and would recommend this hotel for a breakaway.

Fabulous but watch out for service charged

CrownePlaza Marlow was fabulous. Food awesome. Room gorgeous ( hotel modernisation just completed). Leisure facilities excellent. Afternoon Tea good but nothing special. Didn’t appreciate the hotel adding on service charges to both the meal and the Afternoon Tea. They were part of the package, so why should I pay service ( I didn’t!)

Good experience overall nice and relaxed. The price is very good value with 23% promotion. The price I paid for experience was equivalent to a 1 night stay at this hotel.

There was a last min. panic as booking was not on their computer when phoning to check times, which they sorted out, and upgraded our room. All the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The best afternoon tea we have had.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming and we felt very safe in the hotel. All the food was good quality but in particular the afternoon tea was beautifully presented. We were upgraded to a king sized room which enhanced the experience. The towns of Marlow and Henley are very pretty and we enjoyed Thames walks, a visit to Hughendon Court and a walk in the Chilterns.

i booked a weekend away for me and my husband for our anniversary, the package came with fizz dinner and afternoon tea. our room was lovely however we did not receive our fizz, my husband did not like any of the dinners so asked for something else to which after we had checked out I received an email to say they are now charging me for, which I have had to complain about and the sandwiches on the afternoon tea were stale and dry, to which at the time I decided not to complain about, the staff were all friendly but at no time when we asked about the dinner did they inform us that this would come at an extra cost, this has really put me off booking this hotel again, but would stay in Marlow again
