Thanks to the iconic Game of Thrones series, Dubrovnik has become the holiday hotspot du jour, but there’s plenty to do here that isn’t focused on dragons and drama. House of Sanjarenja is in an upscale residential area, close enough to the medieval old town but just far enough away to provide an escape from the tourist crush. And what an escape; the raised private pool, jacuzzi, and outdoor seating area are the perfect place to soak up the Croatian sun, and characterful interiors are a blank page for you to create some lasting holiday memories.
