I was originally a bit hesitant to read this -- I loved Simon vs the Homosapien Agenda, and was worried that this book would be one of those mediocre sequels where the author decided to write a sequel because the first one was wildly popular and turned into a movie. However, this absolutely held up to the standards of the first book and, like Simon, Leah goes through her own journey. The way the author fits it in with the first book makes sense, and it was great to see the author include more queer identities in her writing. Representation matters!

This book was just as good (and maybe even better) than it's predecessor, and the absence of reviews is disappointing. Becky Albertalli did an amazing job with this, especially considering it's not easy to return to a world that already seems perfected.
