Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

The beauty of this place has to be seen to be believed. This stunning home sits on a secluded plot of land by the Bay of Kotor. Mountains surround the home, so much so that it feels as though the cottage itself is part of the rock formations. There’s an other-worldly beauty to this part of the world. The stone cottage has been a home for over a century – so you’ll find authentic architecture – but it’s been brought up to date inside, making it a comfortable and stylish getaway destination. In the kitchen, neon accents sit alongside traditional wooden beams and stonework. The bedrooms are comfortable and cosy, and there’s a separate studio ideal for couples wanting a bit more space. If it’s space you’re looking for, the outside amenities are sure to impress. The glorious pool – which looks out over the bay – is just the beginning. A dining pergola and stone barbecue – together with an outdoor cinema – make evenings here an absolute delight. There’s darts, boules and table tennis to keep you entertained, too. For those looking for R&R, the pool area is a haven. Laze around in comfy sun loungers or a hammock with a book, or just gaze out at the view. Enjoy the faint aroma of the plants and herbs planted all around the property – this place really is something special. If you can tear yourself away, the villa is just eight minutes from Kotor’s old town. Spend an afternoon strolling along the cobblestones and admiring the picture-perfect setting. The beach is only ten minutes away, where you can splash around in the shallows or rent kayaks to explore the coast.

About Montenegro

One of Southeastern Europe’s smallest nations, Montenegro may also be one of the most untapped in terms of untouched wilderness, ancient cities, and sheltered sandy beaches. The mountains that trace the country’s borders are some of the most impressive in Europe, with atmospheric fir forests that descend to the edges of large glacial lakes. Immersed in whispers of local folklore, the green peaks and shimmering troughs of these lakes make...

Host

This home is managed by Oliver

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.

This home is nominated for the Plum Guide Award.
