If you want to see this gorgeous view a little closer, simply step outside onto the home's private terraces, which feature a swimming pool, loungers and a table for alfresco suppers - plus a private riverside beach. There's a ping-pong table and trampoline to keep youngsters entertained, but there's also an impressive four-monitor WFH set-up in case there are emails that can't wait. However, be sure to finish up as soon as possible, because there's so much to see and do in the local area, too. By request you can have someone take you out on the hosts' boat, moored at the home. Summers Beach is only four minutes' walk away, although there are plenty of other coastal destinations easily reachable in the car. The harbour town of St Mawes takes a few minutes to reach on foot and has delicatessens, restaurants and a castle waiting to be explored.
