Really enjoyed our stay at the Rex. Our only issue was the exhaust was very poor in the bathroom. Very spacious room with a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the rooftop bar and were expecting chips but got hash browns instead with no explanation as to why.

We stayed for a reunion of old friends arriving from all different locations! We liked the Rex - it was walkable to Lonsdale St with its great cafes, bars and restaurants. There was also a lovely small market in the park on Sunday morning. Really comfy bed and fairly spacious bathroom. Just missing some seats and a small table on the balcony!

The pool is in another building beside the hotel. The parking is terrible. I had to park 2 blocks away. The kettle didn't work. I also found out that if I booked directly through the hotel I would of got breakfast included for the same price WOTIF offered. So don't use WOTIF ALWAYS BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL OF YOU REALLY WANT TO SAVE MONEY!
