The experience begins with a tour of the workshop, where you'll have a go at using the traditional tools of the trade on a practice cleft. Listen to the team’s cricketing stories from years in the industry and quiz them about all things cricket. Then get ready to fully immerse yourself in the experience of finding the perfect cricket bat. Pick from Millichamp and Hall's huge selection of willows, decide on the profile and weight, personalise your bat further by choosing the handle shape and size, as well as the shape of the toe. You’ll also be involved in finishing and polishing the blade, where you can even apply your new labels!

Amazing Skill

This was bought for me last Christmas but only organised myself to get down there in November and it was fabulous. Exteremely talented and skillful and also very friendly and informative as they worked. It was a miracle watching them turn a lump of wood into the best bat you'll ever own in 2 and half hours. It may seem a lot but these guys make bats for Tendulkar and many other top pros so it's well worth it.

Great Gift For All Cricketers

Purchased this gift for my son's 21st Birthday and he loved it. After taking the time to talk to my son about the best type of bat for him, we then moved into the workshop where he selected a piece of wood and then we watched as the wood was crafted into an amazing bat. This whole experience took approx. 3 hours and was worth the money, the time and skill put into making the bat was great to see and at the end of the day you have a one off bat. My son now has the memory of a lovely afternoon and also he has a great bat that he will have pleasure using and hopefully he will score lots of runs!! We took my 17 year old son along with us (also a keen cricketer) and i can honestly say that he would love this gift also. We will be back!
