Georgian elegance meets modern design in this chic flat housed in a Grade II listed building dating back to 1755. Designed by RIBA finalist Paul McAneary, this home is full of thoughtfully curated details, from the library framed dining space to the 1930s Art Deco chairs and large shuttered windows that fill the whole space with light. We love the open kitchen with its red, retro SMEG refrigerator and the eclectic pieces of art sprinkled throughout each room. You’ll relish waking up in the bright, minimalist bedroom overlooking the neighbourhood gardens and heading to the sleek bathroom where a relaxing soak in the tub will get any day off to a glorious start. Enjoy the welcome coffee and tea provided while perusing a book from the shelves, then ramp up the relaxation by booking an at-home massage. When you’re ready to explore the local area, Kennington Park is just a four-minute walk away, while vibrant Elephant and Castle is fifteen minutes away on foot. Hop on the tube to explore the food scene at Borough Market – ten minutes away – or for a real culinary treat, ask your host to arrange a private chef to cook up a feast for you at home. As the day closes, kick back in the living room with a glass of wine while the surround sound system plays your favourite tunes.

About Kennington
Kennington is one of London's best kept secrets. It's famously home to the major cricket ground The Oval, but we're more interested in its Georgian architecture (check out the charming Cleaver Square, where you'll find locals playing boules and a cosy pub) and proximity to the cultural delights of the nearby South Bank. It's a diverse area, popular with young professionals and families alike - a good area to experience a taste of real London away from the tourists.

Savour the simple yet effective British seasonal menu, coffee, and cakes in the outdoor museum cafe. A delightful experience on a sunny day.
Explore Kennington Park
A small but charming Victorian park with workout stations, a delightful cafe serving wood-fired pizzas and pastries, and a shop where you can buy handmade honey produced in the park. Perfect for picnics and dog walks.
Dine at Kennington Tandoori
Experience modern Indian cuisine in a smart, low-lit contemporary setting. This gem of a restaurant is recommended by the Michelin guide and has even been mentioned in J.K. Rowling's book, Lethal White. Enjoy delicious food, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere.
Have A Pint At The Three Stags
This pub is where Charlie Chaplin saw his dad for the last time. A great ethical, sustainable pub which has been awarded stars for its attitudes to sourcing local produce.
Enjoy Brunch At Brunswick House
A beautiful Georgian house hidden in front of Vauxhall Station serving up great coffee, freshly prepared lunches and great drinks. Admire the collection of classy furniture whilst there too.
Enjoy Fresh Seafood at Wright Brothers Borough Market
Indulge in fantastic seafood and great wine at this Oyster bar and seafood restaurant. Don't miss the Cod's Roe and soda bread, and make a reservation to secure a table at this popular spot.
Pizza at Sirena's
If you aren’t too bothered about anything too glam and want great, home cooked Italian food, this is your spot. Hidden in the basement of an old office block, it has a cosy, friendly atmosphere.
Explore Foodie Heaven at Borough Market
Worth visiting for the history and architecture alone, but you’ll never want to leave when you see the array of mouth-watering goodies on offer. The Kappacasein grilled cheese sambos are legendary.
Go for Breakfast At Fowlds
Run by the Fowlds family, who are one of the oldest upholsterers in London. Grab a coffee, some homemade salads and freshly baked bread and try and catch some upholstery action.
Get down to the river and take in the views
Walk the sights at your own pace and soak up Charles Barry’s architecture of The Houses of Parliament and the Gothic Revival architecture of Big Ben. Yes that bell you hear in your garden.
