The Fiskars Easy Change Trigger Rotary Cutter features a magnetic blade hub system for safer, easier, touch-free blade changes. The 45 mm blade is ideal for cutting multiple layers of fabric, felt and vinyl, and its titanium blade coating is 3x harder than steel for exceptional durability. The blade is made of high-grade, precision-ground, premium steel for long-lasting sharpness, allowing for smooth, controlled cuts. Squeeze the handle to extend the auto-retracting blade for quick use, or push the button to lock the blade open for extended use or lock it closed for safe storage. This rotary cutter can be assembled with the blade on either side, providing optimal blade visibility for both right- and left-handed users.

Safe and durable option
This is a great little cutter. The trigger handle is much safer than the old style because the blade retracts as soon as you let go.

Best cutting wheel!
I love the locking feature and quick change blade on this cutting wheel. I like it more than the standard handle, and the grip is much more ergonomic! Highly recommend for any sewing or quilting project.

Quick and easy to use, would recommend
The feature that quickly became my favorite is the small button that locks the rotary wheel when not in use. I’ve had other rotary cutters in the past, but this little safety feature makes this model stand out from the rest. I used to have a horizontal scar on my calf from where I accidentally overshot the distance when cutting fabric on the floor 😅 So yeah, this will now be in heavy rotation!

The cutter grip is wonderful.
Wish it was made for a lefty, the blade seems to be on the wrong side for detail cutting

So light but mighty

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a month ago and it has made my projects so much easier to accomplish. The blade glides smoothly across all of the materials that I've used, without issue. I like the easy push button to lock and unlock the blade for use. I haven't had to change out the blade, but it seems super simple to do. Very happy with this cutter, it's a real game changer!

Lifetime warranty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this cutter a month ago for my t-shirt business and I am so happy I did able to cut through multiple pieces of fabric and absolutely love the control that I have with it. The lock feature is great you can have it locked while you're not using it or lock it while you are operating it so you do not have to hold down on the button the whole time which makes it a lot easier to control.
